The non-invasive glucoWISE blood glucose monitor is currently being developed by Meta Materials Inc. The portable device utilizes low-power radio waves to measure blood sugar levels and can be used as a continuous monitor as well. The glucoWISE device, which promises to be 100% pain free, has been tested in human trials.
