TSMC reveals debt offering for its chip manufacturing plant in the US valued at US$4.5 billion

TSMC began construction of a 5nm chip fabrication plant in April, 2021. Due to a global shortage, the company plans to pay a debt offering of US$4.5 billion. A water plant next to the chip manufacturing plant burst into flames on October 23, 2021.
