Fortnite presents the Rift Tour, a brand new musical performance for fans to enjoy. This weekend, players can see Ariana Grande performing an in-game Fortnite concert and even get her new skin.
While the game is currently in its seventh season dealing with an alien invasion, Epic Games did not lose track of its objective: bringing more people in. On five different occasions, Fortnite players can watch Ariana Grande perform during her concerts. In addition, new in-game quests, items, and rewards are also tagging along.
Fortnite x Ariana Grande
During the Fortnite Rift Tour, Ariana Grande will perform five in-game concerts with her digital avatar. This isn’t the first time Fortnite entertains its fans with such an event either. Previously, Astronomical, the Travis Scott concert, beat the record with 12 million people in attendance. With Ariana Grande’s fame, it is a given that many people will log on to watch the concert.

A few minutes before her arrival, there will be a mix of popular songs with some recognizable elements from the Fortnite franchise. Alongside her shows, Ariana Grande is also featured in the Item Shop and Icon Series with her own Fortnite skin. Everyone who logged in to the event will receive the Cuddly Cloudcruiser commemorative Umbrella.
Rift Tour
Between August 6 and 8, Fortnite players get five chances to spectate the Ariana Grande Rift Tour concert. Epic Games made a special point about attending the events with friends. Epic Games also recommends an early arrival of 60 minutes before any shows. In the past, servers had a hard time keeping up with logging demands. Sometimes, players even got logged out despite their first successful attempts.
To ensure Fortnite fans are always up to date, the Rift Tour tab displays all the information needed to stay on top of Ariana Grande’s concert.

People from all around the world can participate in a live representation of a record-breaking artist. Considering that Fortnite is a free-to-play game, it is an effective strategy to introduce the game to a new fanbase. One thing is sure, it is not the last time fans will see a collaboration between Epic Games and an actor of the music industry. The first Fortnite Rift Tour concert with Ariana Grande is on August 6 at 6 PM ET.
