Norway’s Jarl Riiber delivered a dominant home win in the Nordic combined World Cup in Lillehammer on Sunday for his third triumph in four events this season. Riiber’s best 143-metre jump in the ski jumping portion gave him a 29-second lead over Austria’s Johannes Lamparter going into the 10-kilometre cross-country portion and he had little difficulty securing victory in 25 minutes 40.1 seconds. “I am very happy to be able to make such a good jump,” Riiber said.
