Italy’s Sofia Goggia was again the queen of Lake Louise as she secured victory in a World Cup super-g on Sunday to go with her two downhill wins. The men’s second World Cup downhill at Beaver Creek in Colorado was cancelled due to excessive wind following several postponements. Norway’s Aleksander Aamodt Kilde had won Saturday’s race. The competition had already been cancelled in Lake Louise, Canada, the week before because of too much snowfall and was rescheduled in the US.
