Norway’s Jarl Magnus Riiber has dominated the Nordic skiing World Cup this season but his absence through injury on Saturday allowed Austria’s Johannes Lamparter to seal his maiden victory in the competition. The 20-year-old Lamparter won a stunning world title last year but had never won a World Cup event before putting that right convincingly in Italy’s Val di Fiemme.
