Veteran Norwegian ski star Kjetil Jansrud has been ruled out of the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing in February and the rest of the World Cup season with knee damage following a major crash in the Beaver Creek super-g earlier this month. The Norwegian ski federation said Wednesday the 36-year-old Jansrud would be out six to nine months and needed surgery having damaged the cruciate ligament and other ligaments in his knee.
