Gatik and Walmart have revealed that they are the first companies ever to accomplish fully autonomous deliveries using self-driving trucks without safety drivers. Gatik claimed that its vehicles are safe and reliable and has operated in North America since 2019. During this time, the autonomous trucking company has retained a perfect safety record.
