Nigerian players were conspicuously missing from the 11-man team listed by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) in the Under-20 World Team of the Year. Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka have seen their performances in 2021 recognised by being named in the team.
