DANIEL QUIZON beat fellow International Master (IM) Joel Pimentel in 83 moves of a Gruenfeld Defense on Friday to seize the solo lead after two rounds of the Philippine National Chess Championship at the Solea Hotel and Resort in Mactan, Cebu.
