In case you missed it, Google officially ended support for its Bookmarks service on September 30, 2021. But fear not, you can still export your bookmarks if you haven’t already. Long-time Slashdot reader GPS Pilot writes: Google has dropped support for yet another one of its services. If you’re like me, you don’t visit Google Bookmarks very often, so you’re not aware that Google dropped support on September 30th, 2021. The service still had its uses — like being able to access a collection of bookmarks across different browsers, or when you’re using a strange computer. You can still export your Google bookmarks to alternative services that are “arguably better.” Some Google Bookmarks alternatives include Saved, Raindrop, Pinboard, and Mozilla Pocket.
