This past few weeks has seen an increase in activity regarding the United State's withdrawal and the Taliban's take over of Afghanistan cities and now the entire government.

Recent activity:

• Afghan President Ghani relinquishes power, Taliban form interim gov't

• Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan falls to Taliban, prisoners released

• Taliban official says they will soon declare the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan from the presidential palace in Kabul
