At today’s press conference MediaTek confirmed that the hotly anticipated Dimensity 9000 chipset will be used in the Oppo Find X4 and Redmi K50 phones. At the same event the company also teased a new chip, the Dimensity 8000, which will be a lower cost alternative (the 9000 is expected to be pricey).
While the company mentioned the chip at its presentations, it is not yet ready to reveal the details about it. Leakster Digital Chat Station has no hang-ups, however. This chip will be fabbed on TSMC’s 5 nm process instead of the cutting-edge 4 nm process. Still, it will offer a nice upgrade…
