By Laman Ismayilova Azerbaijani team has won two medals at European Judo Cup in Croatia. Rufat Ismayilov (90 kg) won silver medal, while Maharram Imamverdiyev (81 kg) claimed bronze. Around 300 judokas from 26 countries took part in the European Judo Cup. The national team included 11 judokas. Founded in 1972, the Azerbaijan Judo Federation actively promotes this martial art across the country. Since 2015, the federation has been led by Rovnag Abdullayev.
