Apple MacBook Pro: Developers can position their app menus on either side of the notch or let macOS Monterey hide the notch in compatibility mode

Developers will be able to position content on either side of the contentious notch on the new Apple MacBook Pros. macOS Monterey will also offer a compatibility mode that can either be provided for by developers or enabled manually the Get Info panel in Finder, which reduces the display area via a black bar hiding the notch area.
