Germany coach Hansi Flick is not taking part in FIFA online video conferences this week about the possible introduction of World Cups every two years, the German Football Federation told dpa. FIFA said every men’s national team coach had been invited to attend Tuesday’s and Thursday’s sessions. The proposed reforms of the international calendar have caused huge controversy, with European governing body UEFA and South American federation Conmebol against the idea. The International Olympic Committee had also recently criticized the plans.
