Sweden’s Sara Hector learned her lessons from the previous day to seal victory in an Alpine skiing World Cup giant slalom in Courchevel on Wednesday. Hector was second behind overall and discipline leader Mikaela Shiffrin in Tuesday’s race at the French resort, but she went one better this time to record just her second career victory and first since a giant slalom win in Kuehtai in Tirol way back in 2014.
