The 57-year-old Jersey City man seriously injured after being struck by an SUV on Wednesday and Linden has died of his injuries, authorities said. Michael Ohman Jr. was hit while he crossed the street on the 700 block of East Elizabeth Avenue shortly before 10 a.m., Linden police said. Workers from a nearby auto-body shop rushed to help and managed to lift the SUV off Ohman. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but died late Thursday, according to police.
