Part 3
immediately after part 2, Bean is greeted by Dagmar but she turns her away after all her lying and manipulating she had done and quickly escapes but to no avail as the tunnels are like a complicated maze so Bean is forced to stay with her mother along Luci and Elfo. Bean soon questions what is going on with her mother while Elfo enters a romantic relationship with one of the local trøgs whom was named Trixy whom toured the trio throughout the underground world and explains that the trøgs are miners and their main goal is make the entire world hollow and that they also have a philosophy known as Trøgentology. After getting drunk from the underground mushroom spores, they decide to rest for a bit. Meanwhile up on the surface, Odval and the Archdruidess succeed in manipulating Derek and are now forcing him to pass their own laws one of them declaring that Dreamland is converted into a theocracy but at one point Derek followed the advice of Merkimer to create his own laws but was thwarted by Odval. During this time, Zøg is beginning to recover from his wound and also learned of what happened while he was in bed and decides to trick Odval that he is dead in order to escape Dreamland and foil the conspiracy but the Archdruidess learns of this and kills Pendergast before he can sneak out Zøg and later buries him alive in a far off cemetery but unknown to them though Zøg has been informed by Elfo that Bean is still alive. Back underground, Bean later discovers that Dagmar has been eating trøg brains while they are still alive. After Dagmar’s secret is discovered, Bean, Elfo and Luci end up in a dungeon where they encounter the pirate Leavo, now a prisoner of a trøgs. After the trio escape with the help of Trixy, a plan is devised to take advantage of Bean’s resemblance to her mother and disguise Bean with Dagmar’s clothes in order to escape her grasp. She later dresses in Dagmar’s clothes and attempt to gain the Trøg’s help while Elfo distracts Dagmar as a masseuse. But the ruse is discovered, although Bean is able to convince the Trøgs that Dagmar is the impostor. At the same time, Zøg futilely tries to escape his coffin and later has a mental breakdown, before being seized by a group of grave-robbing Trøgs and escapes into the caves, he later finds Bean and the others. Unfortunately, Bean blows her cover embracing him, and they soon try to escape Dagmar’s grasp once again. In doing so, they create a light symbol that marks them as “the saviors”, and Bean orders the Trøgs to throw Dagmar out though the latter escapes by using her magical powers. Meanwhile, on the surface, a walrus has been placed as a decoy for Zøg, and Derek decides to make up his own decrees against the wishes of Odval and the Achdruidess. While hiding in his room, Derek finds a book with a secret history of the ancestral kings of Dreamland, but with the last few pages torn out, and is found by Odval. Later that night, Odval and the Archdruidess find out that Bean is alive along with her companions and Zøg. Sometime after returning to the surface, Bean and the rest are welcomed back with open arms but later Zøg’s erratic behavior raises some concern, and Bean tries to investigate its cause. Meanwhile, Derek gets locked out of the castle and tries to make some friends. He ends up being taken advantage of due to his gullibility, until he meets fairy Sagatha. Sagatha and her fairy friends teach Derek some wisdom and street smarts, after which Derek proposes to Sagatha. Bean finds Pendergast’s headless body in his own locker which prompts her to find out the person who killed Pendergast. Bean later searches the castle for the gun, with the help of the antique crystal ball and Ms. Moonpence. She hides the gun in her room after locating it in Odval’s globe. Derek returns to Dreamland, and a wedding is held for him and Sagatha after receiving Zøg’s blessing. During the ceremony, a sharp-eyed Derek notices the gun hidden in the Arch Druidess’ sleeve, and halts the wedding. The Arch Druidess escapes on a motorcycle, but she dropped a roadmap to Steamland. Moments later, Bean decides to follow the Arch Druidess to Steamalnd while Luci looks after Zøg who is losing his sanity very quickly. When they arrive in Steamland, Bean infiltrates the Gunderson steam factory to find the Arch Druidess, and Elfo is taken into a upscale explorers club impressing everybody about his past tales when a strange man notices a pin on the clothing he stole. At the factory, Bean meets a man named Gordy while working there. In the end she realizes that Gordy is actually Alva Gunderson the founder of the company, and he wants to make a deal because of some sort of magic that is powerful and in Dreamland and he tell Bean that he is the brother of Sky Gunderson whom he sent to Dreamland some days ago, but he never came back and Bean was quick to hide the truth that she was the reason that Sky never came back. Some moments later, it was revealed that the Arch Druidess was an agent sent to Dreamland and is currently his lover but Bean informs that the Arch Druidess has been committing acts of murder during her stay in Dreamland which prompts Alva to send her away but not before warning Bean not to trust Alva. At the prestigious club, the other patrons are impressed by Elfo, until a member who also owns a freak show captures him after Elfo shows his nature as an elf.
