A Canadian adolescent was arrested in connection with an alleged CAD$46 million cryptocurrency robbery.

A collaborative investigation by the Hamilton Police and US Intelligence organisations uncovered the theft of CAD$46 million in cryptocurrencies. A victim in the US was targeted by the bad actor in a SIM swap attack. An adolescent who was allegedly involved in the incident was arrested in November 2021.
