The lunar eclipse on May 26 will be a supermoon, also known as a super blood moon, and will begin approximately 1:46 a.m. PT. It will be visible in the western U.S. as well as Australia, East Asia and points beyond. It is also a super flower blood moon because May’s full moon is the flower moon.
