Reigning World Cup champion Jarl-Magnus Riiber shook off a disqualification at the start of the weekend to win Sunday’s Nordic combined in Ruka, Finland. The Norwegian topped the morning jumps, flying a distance of 140 metres, and won the cross-country portion in 25 minutes 8.3 seconds ahead of Austria’s Johannes Lamparter, who was 12.4 seconds behind.
