Content creator and Twitch streamer Ali “Myth” Kabbani has made the decision to not re-sign with Team SoloMid, putting an end to a three-year run with the American team.
Myth Leaves TSM
This announcement took the form of a video, in which Myth explained his choice. First, a huge part of why he had signed with TSM in the first place was its “family feel”. However, according to him, TSM’s overall feeling has never been the same following the leave of crucial members like TSM’s former CEO Leena Xu.

In addition, as a content creator, Myth felt like Team SoloMid was missing important opportunities to use his talents. His exact words were that he was not “really being utilized in an efficient manner”. So, this is why Myth decided to refuse to extend his contract, leading up to the announcement of his departure. As for his future, he wants to get out of his comfort zone as a content creator in his next venture.
On the Market
Right now, Myth is probably on the radar of many teams. His 7.4 million followers on Twitch and 4.6 million subscribers on Youtube make Myth a high-profile target in the market. On Twitter, which is the current resting place for esports, more than 2.5 million are following him. His reach is one of the best in the industry, which makes signing him too important of an opportunity to pass.
)
Furthermore, he has become more versatile as time went on. First solely focused on Fortnite and content creation, Myth has completely embraced Riot Games’ new FPS in VALORANT. He has earned even more recognition after participating in a few VCT events as a co-streamer. Regarding potential suitors for Myth, there are already talks about NRG Esports, Offline TV, and of course 100 Thieves.
