A week after his release by Team Vitality, Richard “shox” Papillon has signed with Team Liquid. It is a new story that begins for the French CS:GO veteran.
For many esports teams, the end of the year is a perfect time to reflect on what happened over the last twelve months. For Vitality, it was the realization that they are so close to creating a dynasty. On the other hand, Team Liquid now has its chance at rebuilding, to answer the highest of expectations. And in the middle stands shox.
Shox
Team Vitality has decided to move on from only having French players to better support Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, who has proven to be one of the fiercest awper out there. So, shox has been released from the team a week ago. However, with his positive reputation, it did not take long before suitors came to recruit him. In the end, shox decided to reply positively to Team Liquid’s advances, meaning that he had to say goodbye to France

Leaving his birth country is clearly a risky move that gets him out of his comfort zone. He will have to adapt to the North American way of doing things. Richard “shox” Papillon will now rock the Team Liquid‘s jersey. The community surrounding the North American team has already shown immense support towards this announcement.
Team Liquid
Everyone in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive esports scene has heard of shox. Over the course of eight years, he has played for many powerhouses, including Team Vitality, Envy, Titan, and even G2 Esports. His experience makes him a valuable piece for any team looking for extra firepower. He is also most famous for his insane clutches.
)
He will make a fine addition to Team Liquid’s roster, which is clearly rebuilding. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip, and Michael “Grim” Wince are now on the team’s inactive roster. Although there are rumors that these three players could be playing for other teams, nothing is set in stone yet. For now, shox will have to build chemistry with Keith “NAF” Markovic and Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski.
