Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, the former President of Croatia, has been named chair of the Olympic Future Host Commission. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said that Grabar-Kitarovic starts with immediate effect in succession of Kristin Kloster Aasen who stood down after being elected into the IOC executive board. Under IOC rules executive board members can not be in the Future Host Commission as well.
