「手汗」で発電する発電機が登場

現在、汗からエネルギーを生み出すデバイスはいくつか存在しています。

しかしそれらは汗をかくために激しく運動する必要があり、「大きな労力を費やして少量のエネルギーを生み出す」という構造でした。

最近、アメリカ・カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校（​UCSD）ナノエンジニアリング学部に所属するルー・イン氏ら研究チームは、指先の汗から発電できる薄型デバイスを開発しました。

装着者が寝ているだけで発電できるため労力が小さく、常に少量のエネルギーを生成できます。

研究の詳細は、7月13日付の学術誌『Joule』に掲載されました。
