自閉スペクトラム症(ASD)や注意欠陥・多動性障害(ADHD)などの発達障害を抱えている子供は、「物事を段取りよくこなす」のが苦手です。
発達障害ではなくても、段取りして実行するのが不得意な子もいるでしょう。
最近、カナダ・マックマスター大学の精神医学・行動神経科学科に所属するクリス・アンドリュース氏ら研究チームは、複雑な家庭環境が子供の「段取りよくこなす能力」の発達を妨げると発表しました。
その研究によると、「離婚や再婚、引っ越し、母親の抑うつ症状などが原因かもしれない」とのこと。
研究の詳細は、9月22日付の学術誌『BMC Psychology』に掲載されました。
