あるAnonymous Coward 曰く、 朝日新聞の記事によると、日本ハムは、主力のソーセージ「シャウエッセン」の包装を見直すそうだ。
発売時から続けてきた袋の上部をしばる、いわゆる「巾着型」を止めて、長方形の袋にするらしい。これにより、プラスチック使用量を3割削減できるそうだ。
巾着型にしたのは、「売り場で目立つ」(同社)からだそうだが、プラスチックの環境負荷が問題となっている中で、包装削減を行い、更に他の商品でもプラスチック削減を行うようだ。
